この曲を作詞した野口雨情さんは、御夫婦の間に生まれた子どもが次々と亡くなった思いをしゃぼん玉に託したそうです。
The lylic was writen by NOGUCHI Ujo, whose children died soon after they were born, and he dedicated this song for his children who had passed away. Soap bubbles imply his dead children.
